“I met Schall when she sat in with me & Jason King in Reno and again in Memphis. What a powerful voice and presence! The deep soul of a woman is revealed in her performance, and I am honored that she is my new friend”. ~ Bob Margolin, Vizztone Recording Artist and Muddy Water’s Guitar Player
Schall was born with a love for music and the song has been inside her since she could babble a word or two. There are stories of her as a two year old running around the house singing for any audience she could find! When she was eight she would sing along with records for hours – even her parent’s records. In 5th grade she went to her first music class and after tapping out rhythms her teacher took her aside and told her to tell her parents to buy her some drums. In middle school a wonderful choir teacher spent her own lunch hour to tutor Schall privately. So while she never got those drums, she discovered she had her own instrument. She comes by her talent naturally – her Great Great Grandfather was in the Royal Band in Prussia and her Great Grandmother was a concert pianist trained at the St. Louis Music Conservatory.
She began performing in public at the age of 17 and has performed across a wide variety of genres including Rock, Hard Rock, Country, and Blues. When she discovered a passion for the Blues she realized her voice is perfect for this music form. Her vocal style immediately has the audience requesting Janis Joplin tunes and her raw powered vocals can easily oblige! She can turn it up or bring it down and croon with the best of them, such as with her version of Peggy Lee’s “Why don’t you do right.” Schall loves performing and it shows in her passionate delivery.
Schall has one hard rock album under her belt that was recorded when she was with “Renegade”, a Reno based Hard Rock Band. She is currently writing new blues music for her next CD, tentatively titled “On the Bright Side”.
Nightfire, Legal Tender, Renegade, The Psychedelic Blues Trip, Soundcrater, and currently The Schall Adams Band.
She is an upbeat happy person who co-authored two motivational books, one with Jack Canfield from the movie “the Secret”.
Schall Says My purpose in life is to elevate all of us to reach higher states. One of the ways I pursue my purpose is through music. When you come out to see the show I want you to have the best time, a night to remember – a real blast! I want to raise your spirits and raise your energy. I encourage you to just let go and dance crazy! Life should be fun, happy and healthy – so come on out and enjoy yourself…
