Many of you already know that the band is looking to get back to more blues roots in our music. We can really get to rockin’ as you know, and we’ll certainly keep that aspect, just laid over more of a blues sound. Tony Ghiglieri is stepping in as the new guitar player and Rick Metz will be laying down some saxophone for some of our shows.
Tony is just the right guitar player for this project! He was formerly with Terrapin Road and The Boogie Daddy’s and he’s got a really great sound for the type of music we’ll be doing. Still “Blues that Rocks”… just more blues…that ROCKS! He plays a mean slide guitar and mama loves her some slide! He and I have been writing some songs together as well and I think you will love our new stuff!
Rick is a tasty sax player and a great entertainer who connects with the audience. I always have fun jamming with him so we’re gonna take it to the next logical step and do some shows together!
